From 24-25 September 2026, designers, municipal leaders, researchers and students gathered in Bengaluru for the Protopolis Conclave, held as part of BLR Design Week 2026.

Across two days of presentations, discussions, and workshops, participants explored how design can address urban challenges, from mobility and water systems to public space, climate resilience and citizen participation. The programme also showcased early findings from the three Protopolis discovery sites, Hebbal Lake, Veerapillai Street and RV Road Metro Station, offering a closer look at how design-led approaches are shaping Bengaluru’s future.
